I am terrible at posting any type of technical information so here it goes

my camera is a Nikon D90 that never leaves Manual mode (thus by passing most of it's features lol) I used a D70 for the syncro sun shots with the dogs to ramp up the shutter speeds

my lens is almost always the 50MM 1.8 which I understand is barely in the acceptable range for portraits with the DX chip crop factor.

I almost always shoot at max sync speed 200th sec.

My aperture is usually F11 but for some unknown reason in this particular shot lightoom assures me it was F5.6

I use all Alien Bees strobes: AB1600 for main, 2 AB800s for fill and accent and often an ABR800 (ringflash) for anything else. I shoot the heck out of my large softbox and my beauty dish with a strip light for accent and hair. I use 42 in. umbrellas for fill sometimes and a shoot through umbrella is my new favorite for underneath fill on the beauty shots.

Beautiful series, I know most viewers have no idea what it takes to achieve this type of result, the work that goes into photography is easily forgotten when we stand in awe at the photo.
