Captured 5/25/09, at the beautiful Los Angeles National Cemetery in beautiful West Los Angeles, California.
More than 86,000 veterans, going back to the Civil War, are interred there.
Figured you'd grown weary of roses every day, so I'm returning to the Memorial Day ceremonies for a while. But more water soaked roses in the future.
Please don't glance and run this time. A ZOOM is definitely called for here.
In the rare instance you've never seen and were curious as to what equipment television networks/stations use to transmit and/or videotape many events for your viewing pleasure, take a peek at this awesome array of electronics.
Actually, I'm not too sure about the cameras depicted in the top three photos. It is no where as massive and versatile as the video equipment surrounding it. But at least it's different, and almost as nice as your pocket and DSLR cameras.

TV equipment has really come a long way; the cams are so much smaller and more portable than they used to be. Which makes sense given how much better electronics as a whole have become. Great documentation of the documentors, Harry, it is cool to see behind the scenes!
