It looks simple at first glance, but then all those little details come to live. The plants , the weeds, the ruins and stones, the light of the dawn.. What will be awaiting around that ruined gate? The whole atmosphere seems to be saying that doom is imminent.... but doom for whom? Great work!

Great POV, atmosphere, textures and pose, my friend. A very evocative image. 'Making one's way through the ritual standing stones, of the Wee Folk, at dawn, can be a risky business, The Wild Hunt could appear from the shadows, mesmerise one with their elfin music, shrink one a hundredfold, and whisk one rapidly away to the Land Under the Hill. There a day is a year in the real world, and memories of one's loved ones just fade away'. 'On the other hand, the Lieutenant asked for a volunteer to scout out the enemy engineers' camp, and you needed brownie points for your next assessment, and the shortcut, through Faerie Hill had seemed like a good idea at the time.. Oh, oh! Is that little pipes which I can hear....' Warm regards, on a dry ( ! ), warm ( ! ) night in Glasgow, Scotland, John.
