Description
Sesriem Canyon is located to the east of the Namib Nakluft park in the Namib desert - Namibia.
It was carved from flash flood water over millenia and this water also reaches into the Namib desert itself. Sometimes the canyon is dry and you can walk along it's length but there were many 4 to 5 metre deep pools of water blocking the way along when i was there, and they were full of fish.
