Description

Castle Mespelbrunn , Spessart, Germany http://www.schloss-mespelbrunn.de Apparently from the year 1427 and got it´s final "touch" in 1569. Survived the "30-year-war" without damage and is still property of the xx-generation offspring of the original builder/owner, who live in a part of the castle. There is a little guided tour through the castle, which is quite interesting.

It's like a postcard! Love the colors and different textures. The water-level dock and door are inviting. The lake looks more like a recreational or functional part of the design rather than simply serving as a defensive element.
