Description


Goose Lake straddles the California-Oregon border. It is about 40 miles long and 10 miles wide. The water level is low, and a large part at the southern end is dry. The wind was blowing up the dust which could be seen from a great distance. The dust was the reason I had stopped earlier and saw the Sandhill Crane.
