Description

Created after watching the movie " Capatain Horatio Hornblower" ( Des Koenigs Admiral ). Hornblower entered the Harbour of La Teste for destroying parts of the french fleet direct in the harbour. Change flags Mr Bush........ Thanks for looking Danke fuers anschauen

The Beeb did a series a few years back of several of the books. trivial fact - Capt. Kirk of Star Trek is based on Horatio Hornblower... great pic.

I also love the Hornblower stories and this is a fantastic picture. The ship looks very much like HMS Victory to me but the way you have done the image gives it a fantastic painterly effect. A Favourite for sure.
