Description

The Sword, Sorrows, and her sword-bearer, Alexander (19th of his lineage) are two parts of the tripartate pagan god, Sorrows (Lady of Sorrows is the third part, the imortal goddess). The sword-bearers, though extremely hardy and long-lived, are mortal, and do pass eventually, having given their lives to the service of their goddess, their Coven (family) and the locale that is under their care. Alex, wearing armor made for a previous sword-bearer, is a modern young man, actually--living in 21st century North Carolina. Uh huh. That's a long story. Production details: M4 Enhanced with PD Sam texture, my own character; Valiant and Dauntless armor, bracers, pauldrons. Sorrows made by me. Didi-Mc background; hair & lightning done in post. Gods, he looks absolutely stunning! Love the hair and the power going from the sword to him (or the other way round?). Looks like some kind of plasma, real cool. And the armour suits him very well medieval or not. Did I mention how much I love the hair? It looks almost as if it had a life of its own G

The sword reminds me of Morgaine's sword ("Changeling?" - it's been ages since I read that series) which closed the dimensional gates... Gobsmackingly beautiful, as always, Nano...
