I think this is the female Red Bellied Woodpecker. I could be wrong.

I think this acually a juvy Red Bellied Woodpecker could be a female or male at this point can't tell until they get the red color on the back of their head probably just out from under mom and dads wings, these are beautiful birds and an excellent shot of this guy/gal very nice work!!!!

female has a red spot on back of neck ---- males red spot runs from back of neck to bill. this looks like a skinny imature.
