Description

Full size view recommended. No postwork, except for sig and frame and a little bit of sharpening in some areas. I wanted to reach a certain 'retro sci-fi' feeling. This is my 3rd image where I play with planetary terrains, the great new feature of Vue 7.5. Links to the other images are below. The foreground is a Vue 'infinite terrain' with 10km diameter (by the way, in the other images I used that same diameter). The water is a Vue 'infinite plane' too. The other planets are not alpha-planes, they are entirely procedural and were built with spheres, from scratch, using the material editor. The ring is also procedural.

Note: I've been away from the Vue forum lately and I haven't commented on any of your images. I'm sorry for that, real life hasn't been easy lately...

Another great microworld! great terrain and vegetation on the main world, and the other moons and planets are very well done too! Are the stars Vue too? Can't speak for the stability of the moon above the rings (or the stability of the rings with that moon there, but, hey, it looks like we're in a land of altered physics, anyway.)
