Description
I've been out gardening quite a bit lately. Planting lots of flowers in my back yard. Nearby, my rose bush that stands about 6-10 feet high and is about 4 feet wide, is in full bloom ... bee's going wild on it. I had to dust off my macro lens and put it to use again. I've really missed shooting bugs!!
I was going to upload this 'straight from the camera' ... but you know me. I can't leave a picture alone; I have to mess it up in photoshop before uploading. lol
Hope you are having a nice weekend. The weather here in Minnesota has been PERFECT!

You didn't mess it up, you enhanced it, this post work had added an air of wonder to this, like the beam of yellow light by the bee for instance, nice one shaz!

I can see you've been painting those leaves, it makes an excellent display. Fantastic action macro Shari, keep going! Look out bees, the people in MN are outside chasing bugs in the lovely summer of four weeks.

The postworking gives it a painting feel as opposed to the photo feel. Very gentle treatment and the bee is certainly fat and weighted with pollen.

Stellar grunge postwork in this wonderful and momentous shot of the industrious insect hovering over another source of food, Sharilyn! I postwork and Photoshop virtually all by stuff, many times when it's not even necessary. An addiction, no doubt. If not for Photoshop, there would be no goodoleboy on Renderosity.
