Description

Why do the simplest of images take so long to do?? OK I used IBL, but I only set AA to normal, and it still took 4 hours to render!! Here we are back in an ancient land, later to be what we now call England. The year is around 100 BC. This is the time of the Celts. A golden Torc lays on the sodden earth. Was it lost, dropped and not noticed, or was it cast into a boggy pool as an offering to the Gods? No postwork on this one. Thanks for looking (even though it ain't one of my naked ladies this time!!)

Time well spent indeed! Has a glow about it; a magical and radiant look--makes you want to reach in and touch this precious piece! Can just imagine running my fingers gently upon it's surface; to feel it's iciness and welcomed coolness. Most elegant and brilliant creation!

Oooooh!! How utterly gorgeous .. a simple piece .. yet so complex with the little ripples from the raindrops, the reflections on the water, the lighting alone is magnificent, and that goreous Torq .. even it has reflections .. well worth the time spent on it!

Very beautiful torc and Bryce render. Some torcs from the Gauls were also found in Besançon in the east of France, the city next to where I live!

Fantastic! I'm still browsing through your gallery, but this is one of my favorites.... Would love to know how you got the ripples in the water / what software you are using...
