My name is Tony Shaw and I have been working for a UK Bank since I left school in 1983. I have spent from 1990 working in their IT department as a software developer. With the threat of redundancy hanging over me next year, and having written a web-site for my Dad, I decided to train myself up in web and graphic design and as a result found Renderosity.
The graphic tools I'm using in my spare time are Adobe Photoshop, Bryce, Apophysis, Terragen and Vue ... I don't have any particular favourite as they all have their good and bad points.
I have not posted some of my very early works as they are quite basic and would not look out of place in comics, however I hope you will take time to browse through my gallery so far and any comments, whether good or bad will be greatly received as they will keep me motivated and hopefully improve my designs.
Happy rendering.

I love it, especially the POV, but I think the sword looks a bit jagged from being overstretched.

I really dig the pov on this one, very unique perspective that adds tons of drama. Nice combination of lighting and colors as well, very cool mixed medium. Good depth of field and all around concept. You took a very cliched Warrior Woman with Sword idea and made it fresh, interesting and dynamic. Very well done Tony
