Description

If you've never made a 25-cent Saturday matinee, then you probably won't recall the thrill of waiting a whole week for the next episode of your favorite "Cliff Hanger to see what amazing gizmo of world destruction that the "Radar Men from the Moon" and Commando Cody were doing battle over or what terrible giant gizmo that Dr. Zarkov was building for emperor Ming to end put an end to the planet earth. Point is that every good Sifi movie has it's Giant gizmo to be truly effective. So, even though it looks a bit retro, I had nothing better to do today so I though I'd spend a little time tiptoeing down memory lane and build one for myself. I hope you enjoy it ,thanks for looking, and maybe it will bring some memories back for you too.

Brilliant scene. Yep I use to love staying up late night to watch the old episodes of Flash Gordon and Buck Rogers. Men in tights, women fainting, rockets with magnesium tape flame fx, and big chunky state-of-art 1940's gizmos. LOL.
