Description

Hi there. In the past I've learned to prepare Animals like a taxidermist. Some of the learned skills are still alive... I found this hornet dead in our house and think it was good to preserve her. Now you see her - pinned on a white board with the needles around to stabilize her pose. I will show you some more shots the next days - also some without all the needles. Have all a great week and please zoom for the details.

Here is another clue that might be useful... You can do a home-style freeze drying to most bugs. Once they are pinned in position, you just put this, uncovered onto a shelf and then forget about it for about 6 months. They tend to dry with tighter joints and less shrinkage in the meater parts. Nice shot and I see you do a very good job of "pinning."

My god man... I only suspected it before, but now I know the truth- you are an evil mad genious scientist!!! muahahahahhaha!!! All these bugs and mushrooms should have been a warning sign, but now the preparation of the hornet proves it!!! Good macro... but man there are some things that are art and others that belong in a science journal- and your doing both which is very cool and diverse work. Keep up the experiments, but just dont hook this guy up to electricity and create a FrankenHornet!
