My real name is Markus. I live in Germany in a little town between Chemnitz an Plauen - i don't think somebody knows ;-).
Last year I buy me a Nikon D40 and now I be able to take much more pictures as before. The macros I shared are all freehand-shots.

Here is another clue that might be useful... You can do a home-style freeze drying to most bugs. Once they are pinned in position, you just put this, uncovered onto a shelf and then forget about it for about 6 months. They tend to dry with tighter joints and less shrinkage in the meater parts. Nice shot and I see you do a very good job of "pinning."

My god man... I only suspected it before, but now I know the truth- you are an evil mad genious scientist!!! muahahahahhaha!!! All these bugs and mushrooms should have been a warning sign, but now the preparation of the hornet proves it!!! Good macro... but man there are some things that are art and others that belong in a science journal- and your doing both which is very cool and diverse work. Keep up the experiments, but just dont hook this guy up to electricity and create a FrankenHornet!
