Description

Another shot from a couple of days ago. Things were really clicking in terms of color and style in this set of images. Even the tattoo seems somehow almost to pick up parts of the shirt. Once again mad modeling skills, a very talented subject for sure.

At some point I am sure to have a conversation with someone who thinks that working models just show up and tune out. These people are dedicated masters of their method to be able to stand, sit, hang, fall, whatever in front of a camera and deliver 100s or in this case 1000s of unique polished poses and expressions.

My appreciation of their craft deepens every chance I get to work with it, and try to stay out of the way so that their abilities can be captured on the screen.

This particular shot involved an AB1600 in a 4 foot softbox camera left and an AB800 shot through a 42 inch umbrella just camera right as close as I could get it to the axis without putting it in the shot. Light ratio was probably a bit tighter than 1:2. Shot with Nikon D90 70mm at F13 at max flash sync speed 200.
