'The day after' laat me aan een oorlogsverwoesting denken...ergens een uitgebrand bos verwoest door napalm... Vietnam ???. Groot dieptegevoel in dit plaatje, ontstaan door de blauw/witte achtergrond (opstijgende rook) en de voorgrond met de verkoolde bomen. Heel mooi gemaakt.
