this is White Rock lake's spill way after the recent heavy rains.there is no controlled dam, so all the water exits here when the water rises.the north end floods every time there is a significant rainfall. the spill way area has eroded and they are in the process of repairing. thanks for stopping in an any comments I am saddened by the loss of 1010's(Dawn) daughter.my heart goes out to her and her family

Fantastic capture and motif, Richard. It's pretty easy to feel..how powerful water really is. I am also very sorry for Dawn's loss. Heartbreaking for a parent, to lose a child.
