Description
I am empty
There's nothing left
Not even a drop
If you shouted my name
You would hear an echo
In my soul
I have not reached the finish line
But I am tired
I don't want to run anymore
So please
Just let me rest for a while
And when I get my desire back
I will try and run another mile
As always if you are ever tired in your soul and you just don't feel like going on. If you just want to sit still and rest for a while then this poem is for you. Vaggabondd
