Description

I was invited to an Art Show recently where the theme was, "Bridge to the Past." I put this together to represent the past summers I enjoyed on my Grandfather's farm in Texas. While this is not a perfect reflection of that farm, it conveys all of the wonder and the fun I had there when I was younger. Mainly fishing and exploring. It was not a huge ranch, but it seemed to contain the whole world for me. That is why the name on the mailbox reads " Hayden" as a salute to my grandparents who provided me with so many fond memories. After the chores were done of course. (oh like I actually did any) Enjoy. Vue6 Pro PhotoshopCS3

WOW! Except for the mountains in the distance, this could have been right out of my childhood in rural Arkansas. VERY nice!

Oh Wow this is nothing short of Fan-Tastic!!!!! Such an amazing use of light sooo natural the way it filters throught the trees and of the car to its brightness across some of the trees!!! Even the wayt the clouds hang around the mountain side Simply Brilliant I love this scene!!!!!

Nice work! This brings back memories of my own youth when I spent many summers on my aunts farm in central Minnesota. No mountains to enhance the beauty though!

Yes, we do not need the whole planet when we are young, give us a creek or a small patch of trees and that is our world for the day. Nice tribute even if you didn't do your chores!

Beautiful scene. It looks like a nice painting. Sounds like you had a lot of fun on your grandfather's farm and you perfectly captured that magical memory.
