Cats and boxes--or paper bags! I love it! Black cats are particularly funny; they're supposed to be mysterious and aloof and all of that, but they're always quite the opposite. The ones I know could be classified as clumsy and exuberantly affectionate/playful, and occasionally predatory, if Q-tips, cotton balls, or shoestrings are involved. Fantastic work and one of the best cat portraits I've seen.
