Beautiful work, Linda Kaye! Unless you're a mind reader 100% of the time with everybody, sometimes you'll get fooled. As far as I know, the responsibility for that sort of thing rests with the person who lied to you, not with you for believing the lie. Sometimes people are totally sincere, they just believe everything they think (which isn't necessarily a good thing)! Also not your fault. So ... trust yourself!
