Description
A painful four hour and fifty-five minute "TEST" render, lol. Simple textures are just baked procedurals in Blender and have not yet been optimized in a paint program yet. There also is no displacement or bump mapping yet created. There are texture seam problems on the feet but that is easily fixable. All of the work done so far was done entirely in Blender.
This figure may end up as a Poser/Daz studio Freebie if it is posible to rig this little nightmare. Rigging him for Poser is not something I look forward to but i will try. He's pretty heavy, weighing in at 182,537 polys. It's large but still should be manageable in Poser or Daz studio.
The hair/fur is a little "boxy", some sculpting is needed to smooth out the square ends. It is made from particles converted to a mesh then extruded,, because Blenders wonderful particle hair system does not work in Poser/Dazstudio. It works pretty well for making hair for use in Poser/Dazstudio, with the exception of a relly high polycount. I used a similar process to create the hair for the Zuni Doll freebie a while back.
