Description
Biltmore Estates, in Northern Carolina.. taken between rain showers lol.
bit of history: George Vanderbilt envisioned Biltmore in 1888, while on a short vacation to Asheville, North Carolina. His imagination was sparked by the area's beauty. He felt inspired to create a relaxed country estate in the Blue Ridge Mountains that would welcome family and friends for weeks, even months.
Someone had asked to see a full view, well this may not be exactly what they are asking for, but I spent most of my time that day in the gardens, while my son and daughter toured the house, since I had been there previously, on the left side of the photo where you see the lily ponds and fountains, if you follow to the left beyond the pavilion (there was a wedding there that day) that is where the staircase is that leads to the gardens, hope you enjoy~ and to Raplh, I hope I spelled that right, I do have a few other photos of this home in my gallery if you go back a few pages. Thanks for your interest.
I hope you all enjoy your day.
Thanks to all that took the time to visit my gallery and to comment on my work, I appreciate you all.

Stunning colors and lack thereof...I like the contrast. I never would have guessed this house had a blue roof. That's a place I'd like to visit.

This photo of the lavish estate has taken on the grandeur of an exquisite painting, Lynell! Terrific perspective and framework, also.

I can see that you would need to spend a lot of time to get around this beautiful looking mansion. This is a super capture of it with a different finish.

That estate is huge! I am missing the Carolinas a bit, actually just all the south in general. Everybody is so much nicer it seems. I think we just have crabby peopleitis going on up here lately.
