Rhododendron from Trent's yard.
I loved the drama of the colors, and the extravagance of rhododendron blossoms always pleases me.
The rhododendron is the official flower of the State of Washington, and believe me ... we have a bunch of 'em here! I keep thinking one day I'll post a guide showing how to tell the difference between a rhody and an azalea. Maybe one day I'll actually put one together! In the meantime ... this is absolutely a rhody.
