Description

Pelargonium is a genus of flowering plants which includes about 200 species of perennials, succulents, and shrubs, commonly known as geraniums or storksbills. Confusingly, Geranium is the correct botanical name of a separate genus of related plants often called Cranesbills. Both genera are in the Family Geraniaceae. LOL, imagine how confused I was to have "geraniums" growing in my garden, and yet they were not at all like the geraniums we are so used to seeing as garden plants here! It was one of (I think) the cranesbill varieties! Who knew how many things actually fall in the geranium related family!! And here to further confues my poor feeble mind is another beauty from that same family!!

Tow different geraniums now how odd is that... Love the presentation and ty for the information I zoomed in on this one............... Excellent...you can see the dark rich raspberry looking stripes on the flower... Great POV it seems as if they want to reach up and kiss the sky....
