Description

Hi guys, Lately I'm doing very few Poser renders, I started to do real oil paintings on canvas. Until now I finished 5 paintings and need to do another 15 for my upcoming exhibition as I do every 2 years. These paintings are unique and there will be no other copies and I have a regular customer already who buys from me all the time when I do new collection. This painting canvas size is 30cm x 80cm Thanks for viewing, I will show some more soon.

As one REAL painter to another, keep it up. Computer systems and formats come and go (and CRASH) but a real painting is forever ... or at least until some idiot accidentally pokes a hole in it! But as a painter who is trying to develop ever-more realistic skills, I like to think there is a circle in Hell reserved for the Abstract Expressionists whose simplistic doodles flood too many galleries. Still, its an interesting yin-yang you present here. On one hand you have hyper-realistic nudes done strictly with software that take hours if not days to complete, on the other hand these completely nonrepresentational explorations of pure color that take a heck of a lot less time. Not sure why but the upper half of your work strikes me as a late-50s, Beat Era piece that might have appeared as cover art on some Modern Jazz Hi Fidelity LP. Completely neutral technical note-- as you're noticing, photographing the shiny surface of oils is a bitch and a half. I finally discovered the way to do it requires two photofloods positioned at 45 degrees to the canvas. That way the reflections are minimized to sides of the thicker brushstrokes. A polarizing filter should take care of that.
