Description

This is dedicated to Nicole (moonbunnie). She is one of the sweetest girls in the gallery and a dear friend of mine. She has been through so much in her young life, more than most of us could bear. Nicole never complains no matter how bad she feels and she is always there with a smile for her friends. She is also a fantastic Daz Studio artist and vendor. Her characters (Neila) and (Yaana) are incredible because she put so much of her inner beauty into them. I asked if I could do a image for her months ago and she told me to surprise her with my own creation for her. Hope you like it Hun and sorry you had to wait so long. Pat A Bunny (For moonbunnie): Once upon a time in Maidstone in Kent there lived an adorable girl named Nicole. She wanted so bad to rescue a dog from the pound but didn't have the money to pay for a license. Nicole thought very hard and had a great idea. She asked her Dad to build a stand in the yard for her. She asked her friend Lori to help her make a cardboard sign. Then she grabbed her pet Bunny Chelsea and they were open for business. Now everyone can know what it feels like to pat a bunny, for a small fee that is. OH-NO, it looks like one of the partons is complaining about the price. That's okay, he is lucky they didn't charge him twice as much for being a silly boy. Thanks for listening, Dave I am trying to provide better translations for my friends with a new tool. This is just adorable. I would love to see you write and illustrate children's books. You have such a gift for storytelling and always have a fun and insightful message. And you have such a generous soul. The facial expressions and poses are always just right in your renders. What a tender scene and story.

I agree with Cathy, you could write and illustrate children's books, and you do have a generous soul! Amazing too that you offer Dutch, German, Japanese, Russian, etc (you mean you don't offer Sanskrit or Chinese? lol...) Just another way you touch everyone here...Dave, this is you all over, a lovely dedi to Nicole (to whom I send the very best wishes) and another touching evocation of childhood. Everytime I enter your gallery, I'm reminded of your wonderful sense of detail: the flare of the hands, all the different configurations of the fingers (you think out everything), the boy's sandals—with you being careful to put his toes 'recessed' from the tips—the rumples in his shirt & pants, the petticoat visible underneath that girl's dress, the partly obscuring hair in everyone, the designs you choose for shoes & dresses and so on. (The girl with the petticoat, for instance, has that wonderful 'star' pattern on her shoes—that's a real trademark for you, always looking for the smallest bits of sweetness, always.) Even things like nicole feeding carrots to the rabbit, where you bothered to think that the rabbit wouldn't 'sit' there if he weren't given an 'incentive' (lol). You even have the rabbit sitting on a folded pad of some kind, figuring it would be more comfortable that way. (Even the sign has irregularity & grain)...You have such intense care for the details of childhood, it always amazes me. And you even wrote Pence, as this is in Britain, not America....An open simple image & lovely tale, and it feels very childlike. Your dedi to Nicole is wonderful, and once more you grace us with your gift of deep heart & childhood memory. Many thanks Dave, it's a joy!

Great writing, simple and sweet and thats one smart little girl! I know how she feels! I rescue alot of strays but I can't afford the license for the dog I want either!!! Or the dog for that matter lol! Wonderful render and very sweet dedi!
