Description

AlooooooHa~ Took a walk once again down to my favorite beach to catch the summer swell hitting our south shore. The morning turned out to be quite cloudy with the swell really pounding and sea spray making it quite nasty for shooting. A stiff breeze was blowing right towards me causing me to have to wipe the lens off after each shot. I took a few shots and left to come back on another day when it wasn't so bad on my gear. Spent a couple of hours at home wiping down all my equipment...but how can you measure pleasure? Enjoy the view, I surely did! Aloha~

I've been on the Hawaiian and Pacific US coasts in weather just like this. I can smell spray, hear the roar...nostalgic. Extreme and superb photo!

I'd never thought before about the damage to your equipment from salt spray! A lot of trouble to go through during and after the shoot, but what a great shot, well worth the effort!
