It reminds me of 'The Virgin Mary'... This is indeed very sorrowful, but there is a certain tranquility too. She is almost smiling. A beautiful new piece Syyd (BIG PLUG...LOL). I love your updated site too... Colm XXX...

Very lovely work here Syyd!! The softness and the almost copper-pink tones are a real sensual viewing pleasure. Verdie : )

I like the blurryness and the color in this. The sharp strokes around the forehead remind me of barbed wire. Which makes me think of blood, loss and thus sorrow. HONESTLY! Your images and words are so well integrated it's hard to distinguish where your art ends and my thoughts begin.

I like what your doing... :)

Reminds me of the famous Shroud with the mysterious Christ image.

This is a good one Syyd. I like the 'stains' on the head & the blur fx. The fleshy colours really work. This one doesn't need to grow on me, it's there already !!!!!!!!!

This is very pretty. A Shakespearian thing. A Midsummer Nights Dream.

I agree with kaef about the sharp strokes around the forehead, though my thoughts were of a "crown of thorns." Very intriguing!!! :O)

I'd almost say I prefer Stimata to this. Although side by side, one is far different, then I find I like the difference. This is soft, and dreamy, very feminine, and the blur effects to smear everything except the eye, really lend a drama. Nice work, hope to see more.
