Description

This is the view from Loughrigg Fell over Grasmere Lake in the Lake District - Cumbria. The fell was a favourite of the famous poet William Wordsworth who lived with his sister at Rydal just out of shot. William Wordsworth and his family are buried in the church yard in the village of Grasmere.

Wonderful composition. The cloud shadows really make it pop....well, that, and the foreground rock and wall of bracken fern. It's just overall a great picture.
