Description
Here is the Haskell Coffin version exhorting women to help in the war effort by buying savings stamps. We had savings stamps in WW II as well.
This post is in reply to bmac62's excellent photo of a British version
Joan
The poster above was a re-issue from the US Printing Office in the 1970s. Not exactly rare, and often corrupted - the funniest was "Save Martha!" at the time of her trial for insider trading.
My photograph of a public document.

pompously :)

Oh, I like this version best x 10!!! This is an attractive Joan. Now, I'll have to go back and see if I have a photo of the original Haskell Coffin. All the posters in the WWI Museum in KC are under glass making it exceedingly difficult to get glare free photos.

This is a better-looking Joan than the British version. Thanks for sharing!

In theory, some kind of patriotism ought to make me say the British version is best, but this one looks much better!

Great work, I love especially the old paper look you managed to give it. Great work!
