Description

Students look much the same all over the world: these two German-speaking girls were in the garden in front of the Civic Museums, just back from a visit to the nearby Scrovegni Chapel with its famous Giotto's frescoes with the rest of their school trip mates. They were trying to cajole a braod-shouldered, tall boy to take their picture, by posing and calling him prettily to the task. But he was busy with another girl! I was detouring through the garden going home looking for a shot, and I couldn't help taking a shot of them. The red-headed girl on the left is pointing at me, saying something like, she's got a shot! They were speaking German, but since my German consists of less than fifty words (and two or three of them are dirty words), I can't say whether they were German or Austrian. For sure they were the belles of the group. This photo is dedicated to all the German-speaking Renderositians. Thank you for your kind comments.
