Description

After ian_colette pointed out that I was building a model of a Voyager OS, I had a little think about the time period I want to set my final project in and decided that the Voyager OS was, perhaps, a little more recent than I intended. So, back to the drawing board - this is about the same stage I'd reached before but this time with an original model D as the inspiration. :-) It looks more in keeping with my idea. The only liberty I have taken so far is that the knobs are fractionally larger than they ought to be - but I'm sure that this will not notice when (and if) I do the complete render. I may tweak the panel texture a little but, it doesn't look that bad as it is. Hope it looks as good to you as it does to me. ---------------------------- Original Render: 19-Jun-2009 Created with Bryce 6 Some components created in Metasequoia - textured in Bryce Custom textures created in PhotoShop

that's the way you do it. Great stuff. They came out with a re-issue of this, done by another company after Moog disappeared; however, one thing hasn't changed, it's stil $1,400...;) lookin' good.
