Description

I miss Florida and my swamps so you get an Alligator lurking in duckweed. He was using the tiny duckweed plants, as camouflage, as he was sneaking up on a bird at the water’s edge. He did not get the bird. Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous comments & favs. Dana

It must be hard to sneak up on a bird even hidden in duckweed as he is. It must work often or he wouldn't do it. It must be very interesting to watch them! Great shot!

This is what I like about being on here, I see pics of everyday things people see, that maybe I won't. Definately won't see an alligator. Well I hope not in the girls water!!!!

Great shot, he has his nostrils out front. The duckweed gives the image an abstract feel to it! Excellent!

What a great capture! He looks so sneaky ... but so obvious! Perhaps that's because you already saw him for us. Maybe if I were there, I wouldn't have seen him at all!
