BIO
This site is a collaboration between myself and Alexander Graham. Alex is someone who answered my call from a place, though far away, so close to my heart, and we work together towards the same goals with a shared vision of a better world, not just for a chosen few, but for everyone, everywhere. And we work for an understanding that there are other points of view and other opinions, and that open debate, along with all the other principles America was founded on, is what turns that diversity of perspective and prejudice into a strength instead of a weakness. That is what our work is devoted to: a better world for our children's children's children.Thank you for taking the time to visit.. Alexander and Lynn

It's a sad fact that they may have torn up the trees to actually 'get rid' of the wildlife in the first place. Some humans consider it a nuisance. Of course, the planet considers humans a nuisance and is planing a clearance very shortly. Back in the world of global development, it's always Groundhog Day. The Groundhogs call it Ground Zero Day.

You make a seriously surprising point! i would follow through and maybe even ask if there are othere cases like this where wildlife is displaced for the convenience or asthetic....: (

What a sad report accompanying the collage. It is sad to see the effect we animals have on nature. Makes one wonder who is the more intellectual species on earth...

A habitat for for humans is impoverished if it doesn't include our fellow creatures, as we both know. We have various laws here which unfortunately vary from county to county, but there are many vigilant organisations, thankfully. Well done, Lynn, for standing uo for the groundhogs!

Great shots Lynn! Sadly, unless it's a newsworthy endangered species, most companies tend to ignore the issue. It's sad.

This seems to be happening all over. They keep building here & foxes, birds etc are loosing their homes. Then peolpe complain when the animals come into their gardens, it was theirs before ours. Hope the little family are ok. Lovely pic.

These are great shots. Unfortunately some things seem to have a double edged sword. In order to make room for humans it sometimes forgotten that there are other living creatures that will be displaced. Hopefully the wild life agency will be able to help.

Lynn these are great photos of the little guys and I couldn't agree with you more as I worry about little critters like that when they are displaced. I think people should make the effort to go in and check out what is living in a area first and see what they can do to adapt or relocate them instead of just plowing it all down.
