Description
This is my first image post in roughly two months. Since mid-April until very recently my spare time was very limited - unusually busy period at work had meant 60+ hour work weeks, and I had to make several weekend trips out of town to visit my dad who is now in assisted living due to progressing Parkinson's. The onset of springtime and warmer weather also left me with the usual outdoor chores and yardwork that come around each year and can't be ignored. Mix in various other unanticipated demands on my time and I unfortunately found little time or focus remaining. Did almost no artwork for most of that time, and rarely visited Renderosity or other art sites to view others' work either.
Things finally evened out earlier this month and I got away for a vacation - a week visit with old friends and some rest and recreation in rural southern Illinois - an opportunity to restore some balance. In an odd way, not creating or viewing others' creativity for a while enabled a refreshment.
Anyway, hope you enjoy this. Good to be back, offering some visual fun.

Glad to have you back...I can sympathize with lack of time, and your burden makes mine pale in comparison. I really missed your work and visited your gallery regularly while you were gone. This is a gorgeous flame...thought humminbird at first, but of course, it's the hummingbird-with-antennae....the sphinx.
