Dear Friends & Visitors
Please allow me to say a huge thank you to all of you who made my birthday so special today with all your wonderful dedi's and wishes. Piet, Shari, Ronnie, Denise, Tara, Lu, Marilyn, PJ, Christo, Andrea, Helle & Dana - thank you for the wonderful images you dedicated to me! Thank you to everyone who commented and wished me well!!! Thank you also for the phone calls and sitemails I have received from many of you! All of you contributed greatly to make my day extra special!!! I really enjoyed a wonderful birthday...
I couldn't think of another image to use than these humble daisies I have captured in the Botanical Gardens here in Johannesburg earlier this year!

Guess what, you could have included me in that list if I had been given adequate notice that your birthday was coming up, but, as fate would have it, I just found out about it, it coincided with Father's Day, and I had to make a difficult choice between the two in what to post for today. I'm usually told a few days beforehand of such events. So, tomorrow I will upload a slightly belated BD greeting in your honor, Carin. Incidentally, superb colors, clarity and contrast against the dark background in the marvelous composition displayed above.
