My name is Kevin Ward. I live in Lincolnshire, England
I have had a life long love of Art , Photograghy and most things creative especially other people's. I was retired early due to ill heath giving me a whole lotta time to fill.
I now try to do something new everyday to improve my own artistic skills with just one motto
" enjoy life with the people you love "Â They always try to understand my crazy art, what more can you ask!

We have them here too, it is Hawkweed. http://www.flickr.com/search/groups/?q=hawkweed&w=737853%40N23&m=pool It comes in orange and yellow colors. In my part of Northeast PA, the yellow is more abundant, I need to look a little harder here to find the orange ones. Wonderful capture of this beautiful wildflower!

Dorothy is right, it was a Hieracium, now called Pilosella aurantiacum. Orange hawkweed. My mum planted this in the front 'lawn', and it has been a joy ever since. It spreads rapidly by seed and runners, but is easily removed when unwanted. I grow it with the bright purple geranium Alice Folkard, a brilliantly vulgar plant association!
