Description

The Panther V model D was the first model of Panther released. Therefore it is the first to be released in my series of Panther models. It is available now at vanishingpoint.biz. Model has opening hatches, realistic track movement, real world gun elevation and depression, interior and engine available as a free add-on also at vanishingpoint.biz Come with two mat files to re-create a basic Dark Yellow panther or the camo version you see in this pic.

Panther V is Germany answer to the T-34/76 it have it first combat during the battle of Kursh 1943 between Germany & Russia there was 3000 tanks on each side at the start of the battle. More Panther V was lost to mechical problems than enemy fire. Latter the Germans fix the problems on Panther V, I saw a photo from France few years ago they still using lower half of the Panther on some local farm work. I notice the person who made poser image for the Panther V made a small mistake, the machine gun port in front of the tank is wrong.

Great model..the machine gun port is correct for the D version..it changed for the later A. However not sure about your smoke launchers, think they were positioned a bit further back on the turret, apart from that looks 100%

Excellent model and almost very accurate in detail! The nebelwerfer are indeed to close to front. Normally they start behind the thick front plate of the turret. But it was a field modification and not all Panther have it at that place. Beauty part is you can select the smoke launcher and hide it. This is the best Panther you can get as CG model.

This is an awesome model, I have it and it has the most logical ERC control system for animation. Really a pleasure to use.

Amazing early d model, nicely done, as for the smoke dischargers it hard to tell, i think the camera angle is giving the impression of the wrong position but i dont find it incorrect as mentioned previously these were field modifications therefore there could be many many variations, a must have model, well done ranman Bravo!!!
