Description

I rideing on a street cat there in new orleans going thought the garden districh[area]. There a lot of wonderful old houses there. rich people houses. I liked the effect I got here on the movement of the trees and the house and rider is still. maybe not the best way to photo a house for it is not sharp if youblow it up but it do have wonderful effects to it i noted yesterday I was not getting uploads ebots on some of the artists on my favorite list and one person IM me today i not looking at they art. I sorry I missed they art. I like to comment on any art I open up and I like to comment on my favorite artist list. i do not know why I not getting ebots from some of them and some I am. Like on Drag art I missed her art and wonder why she was not upoading but she was and i was not getting ebots. I pointed this out yesterday and today I got a ebot of her upload. I do not have time to look around in the galleries so I just go down my email to the ebots that is in there. sorry if i doing it wrong

I kind of like the movement of the trees. Matches the movement of the bicycle rider. BTW, that sure is a grand old Southern mansion.

Great motion blur and a cool effect you achieved here, Jock! If that is St. Charles Ave., I have been on that same street car. :)

When I was there I really loved the garden district. It is separate from the downtown scene but not very far from it. The old south is still there in it's finest. This part of LA is so varied and full of history and culture. Anytime I see a shot of any part of New Orleans, I know I will be looking in. I understand your comments on ebots. I used to be limited to viewing only those I was receiving about my favs. Now I just go through the gallery and stop at them all. Hope the situation is fixed soon for you. (oh, and we drove this area ... didn't take the street car. Maybe next time!)

Jocko, I don't always get all my ebots, I think it's a email thing. This is a different kind of effect, it's neat, nice work.

Pretty good feeling of motion in this shot, Jock! Love that magnificent estate in the background, also. Once in a while I don't get ebots, either. Also, ever since the format went white text on black -- which I hate -- Renderosity crashes and I have to launch my ISP again. Sometimes that happens four or five times at one sitting.

Great shot! I love the sense of motion you've captured. Not every photograph has to be pristine-sharp. Excellent image!
