Description

I took this photo last week and could see a dancing bird , I suppose a little bit like a peacock effect. I really like my new camera but when I go into photography shops to check out longer lenses the assistants/manager seem to dismiss the Nikkon D40 referring to it as an "internet" cheapy and keep trying to sell me a new Lumix G something for £500 ! Blimey I still trying to understand this one!! Susan Thank you for your support on my previous post

Unfortunate that the days of the customer is always right have long gone, he is on commission and full of greed, screw him and look on the net for a lens, great shot Sue, excellent POV and DOF, and yes I see the bird :)

I think I'd put the saleman in his place and make him feel ashamed for his rudeness... its a fine camera as far as I have heard. And this is a tremendous shot! I love the richness and the clarity. Stunning macro.

The color is awesome as is the contrast. Tell the photoshop owner that until they learn to treat you as a person, you won't be back. The economy in the US is so bad that they would not risk losing a good customer. Dana
