I'm sure that to some people, the very mention of ethnicity, religion, or dialect is enough to offend. I mean no harm to anyone. I might lose a few viewers here, and I'm sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings. But let me explain... Of late I have been studying various dialects with great interest, especially that of the Southern United States (where the girls are supposed to be from). I wondered how many Southernisms I could fit into one sentence. Then I was lying awake one night and thought, "There's no such thing as a Jewish hillbilly, is there?" Well, here she is. She does live in Hillville, after all. You may have seen her before in my gallery if you were paying attention. For non-Americans: A Yankee is from the northern part of the country. The southern dialect is different enough that... well, Imagine how someone from Bonn reacts to hearing a Bavarian. Or an Austrian. I don't know. "Autumn" is from Florida, and only northern Florida is generally considered the South, if that makes any sense. It's all about how localized language can be.
