Description

well, I managed to get this shot saturday night while at sunset beach on hecla island manitoba. normally its a beautiful beach to spend the sunset on..however, the mosquitos were just terrible. I mean they just swarmed us and it didn't matter how much bug spray we had. I almost showered in it yet the mosquitos were just circling both of us and neither one of could hack it. so I took a few photos and hightailed it out of there. of course getting off the beach was no fun either because you have to go through the bush for a bit.

You poor girl. You just are not having any luck this year to go camping at Heckla. First you needed a snow suit and now you need armour against those horrible mosquitos. I feel your pain as we have so many here as well. I hope your westnile virus stays over in your neck of the woods and dosent come across to our place. Havn't heard of it over here yet. Love the photo as Heckla is usually a beautiful place barring the not so nice wildlife.
