I have had white ginger growing in the yard and it is like Canna lillies...once you get a patch established, it keeps coming up from the roots and pulling it out is really no use to control it. I imagine this is much the same. But, like white ginger, it is gorgeous. Stunning capture.

Great shot. Hawaii has a huge variety of ginger flowers. Most of them are not the edible kind. And they smell wonderful. Especially the white kinds. Aloha
