Hello ! Here is my clematis in watercolor. Just had to try and paint it. Thanks for your kind comments and favs to my previous post. :-) Have a great day. Gorgeous sunny weather, so it is about time for me to go out. :-)

Quite wonderful helle!I love the colour and the wet brushes i see over the thers making transparencies and shadows with such simplicity.You "let it go" so well..i see the inspiration into your heart and running out to the canvas:))))I love the way you framed it a lot.Beautiful,Helle!BEAUTIFUL!

yes Helle, there really is a lot of line-detail, furrows, etc; the petals and stamens are filled with your eye. And yet it's also sweet and simple. I realize that's one of your traits, detail yet with a sweetness and directness that's not easy to achieve with detail. Also you have some violet hues mixed in with your blues—there's a lot going on in your hues. A simple "open" painting of a clematis, and it's beautiful and delicate as well. I agree with the above. Delicate piece of work.
