Another gem! I'm impressed with the lighting. Is it natural or are you setting it up?

Thanks everyone. in answer to Evensteven,s question. The originl shot was really bland but i must admit i shot it purely for manipulating in photoshop. I can,t link to the original of this shot but here,s a link to yesterdays shot which is similar. http://www.ephotozine.com/u27600/gallery/1252743 To create this shot i first corrected any problems in photoshop, i.e dodge and burn, removal of dust specks and other distracting parts. Once happy with this i used a filter from nik efex pro 2 called darken/lighten centre to create the viggnette blur. after about 4 burns with this filter i used the history brush at a low opacity to bring back the parts of the image i wanted. Next step was the lighting, i wanted some shafts of light from the right hand side of the image. to create this i used a filter from autofx called mystical lighting. it took a bit of work but i was quite happy with the end result. Next step was to work on the detail. for this i used a filter called wheyeth from lucisart, another bit of messing around untill i was happy with teh result. The final process to the image was noise removal and sharpening which i done in a programme called neat image. I hope this helps and if you have any questions please feel free to ask or send a message. all the very best Clint
