I know this shouldn't be here but thought I'd show off my winning logos in the Renderosity logo contest.There were many amazing logos this year, so I'm honored to have won. These are the logos that will be seen for the next two years so I hope they get a positive reception. Thanks to all who voted.

thanks for leaving a comment at my gallery. I also congratulate you on winning the contest. You will get some possitive, some negative response... but, you felt this is what they were looking for and you were right - You did good following your intuition. Since you did stop at my gallery, you read this segment (I hope) my thoughts for the cover was: 1. It had to be colorful 2. It had to catch the eye 3. It had to represent ARTISTS from around the WORLD. 4. It had to be Marketable, so Rendo could put it on shirts, coffee mugs, hats, etc... 5. THE COMMUNITY COULD HANDLE LOOKING AT IT FOR THE NEXT TWO YEARS - LOL I glanced at your homepage and saw a piece of art I liked and I will check out your gallery. As a fellow artist, I would only hope you can understand my disapointment in the contest.... I like the phoenix bird they have and I really didn't want to create something to replace it... however, it was going to be replace and I was trying to "feel" what I thought the administrators AND community wanted. I was wrong. As an Artist, I was hoping to see some wild art (you can relate to that)... as an artist, it disapoints me that black and white wins over color... that the image has frame work (but no art).... That's what's really disturbing... a simple type layout with out art. I'm the type of commenter that will say what comes to mind and be totally honest - sometimes honesty gets me into trouble, but that's just me... NOTHING PERSONAL against you winning... I just can't believe we have a new logo for an art community that doesn't have art - that's all.

congrats, but to me they look like banners for a website that sells washing machines and nothing to do with art in any form, I seen some others that had entered and they were in my opinion 100% better then this.

I thought while I was creating this set of logos that some wouldn't understand my vision. I deliberately left out the gobs of colors and the artistic symbolism's. What I was going for was a calm warm and inviting feeling with a touch of class and professionalism.

I can understand some feelings displayed here but I must say I really do not mind looking at your logo's for the comming years. I think they are stylish and good looking. They will not distract from the art on display. Since Rendo is a multi-art site it would be virtually impossible to represent all directions of art on display in one logo without becomming a clutter. (if it's possible in the first place that is). Congratulations!
