My name is Tara, and I was born and raised in Washington State.
In 2010 I married Bill (bmac62) and retired ... two of the best choices I ever made! :)
In March, 2013, we sold our home in Washington and went on the road in our RV full time. What a blast! There is so much world out there to see!
After traveling around the West for a few years, we got rid of the motorhome and are now spending winters in deep-south Texas and summers in Washington State. Spring and fall finds us visiting whichever place strikes our fancy at the time!
If I’m missing from Renderosity from time to time, I’m busy having fun elsewhere.
Thanks for your interest in my work, and for stopping by to learn more about me!

Oooh, I love pansies. There's a story behind that and it's somewhat dark and ominous...as only pansies can be in "certain" situations. But enough of that. As for this image, the yellow is brilliant, and I love the splotch of color, almost like blood, or wine, or some rich liquid spilled and seeping through the structure of the petal itself. This is superb work!

with the many styles you have & the many subjects, etc, you have a thing with flowers; you do them with such intensity & dignity and you capture them as individual portraits. I love this, loved it when you posted it; the softness of the petals, the big smeary browns, and the little black lines around the stamens: It's almost an artist's design, it's uncanny; and the utter black background makes the pansies stand out all the more. You always capture a few brilliant features of each flower, maybe that's part of your magic with them. I just know it's beautiful. Hope you're voice is returning now, at last...
