Description

I told Lynell (tennesseecowgirl) I'd upload my cow photo... so here it is. This was taken in a small town, Rio Rico, in southern Arizona. The cattle are all free range and just roam around as they please... a rather unsettling sight when you walk outside, or drive down the road and there is this horned-beast (and they usually travel in groups!) ... lol. My previous upload, "Stained Glass". Thanks for looking :) Oh, and Thank you so much for the honor of being chosen for LWITG with " The Cathedral Basilica of St. Francis of Assisi 3" . Very cool. I will be busy for a few days, and I am having some oral-surgery tomorrow (UGH) so I will be awol for a bit. Have a great week! Hugs, ~Melinda~

Free range, hmm...does this moocher of free meals equate to a free meal for the one who secures it? Excellent photo for TCG

When I'm wandering the desert out in the Phoenix area, I always watch for free range cattle. They seem to pop out of low brush, dry washes and cactus patches at odd moments. :-) Love this shot!

Actually, would it qualify as a cow with those horns? Looks like an el toro transient from a bullfighting ring south of the border. Good luck on the oral surgery, Melinda.

This is amazing! I love the incongruity of livestock and roads...fantastic work, and I love the expression of this creature's face! Great work!
